Since its inception, the accounting firm of Jordan M. Carlin
and Company
has specialized in small business accounting, management
services and tax preparation. In its beginning years much of
the clientele
was based in the entertainment industry and provided the
firm with a wide variety of clients. For 24 years the firm was
located
in Beverly Hills, California and a staff of twelve provided
services for over 350 clients.
Its namesake, Jordan Carlin, and his partner and wife, Nancy
Carlin, both Certified Public Accountants, founded the firm in
1960. Together they established a core philosophy of providing
the best possible service to all of their clients, emphasizing
the total financial picture.
Sadly, the firm lost Jordan in 1994. But, Nancy chose to continue
to provide support and service to the firm’s clients, many
having been with the firm for more than 30 years. Through all
of the changes, including a move to the San Fernando Valley in
1984 and to Thousand Oaks in 2006, that same quality and dedication that was the cornerstone
of Jordan and Nancy’s philosophy, has remained.
The firm’s staff has substantial experience in taxation,
business management, and small business accounting services.
The firm also provides expertise in setup and support of Intuit
products, including Quickbooks.
Certain members of the staff also have extensive experience with
both business and personal bankruptcy reorganizations.
The firm takes pride in providing each of its clients with the
close and personal attention of experienced accountants and caring
staff. The office is located in Thousand Oaks, California, approximately
40 miles north of downtown Los Angeles.
